Labels, publishers and artists still aren't getting the most from YouTube - and the giant video sharing site has done something about it.
As hosted by Music Week through here, YouTube has produced a step-by-step basics guide (a 'Playbook') for rightsholders to maximising the potential of their music on the site.
Subjects covered include optimising videos for better discovery, the frequency of uploads, using talent to 'sell' videos to consumers, cross promotion, engaging with fans and much more besides.
