YouTube to offer prepaid mobile data service in India

Video streaming site YouTube has made a deal with Indian mobile service provider Tata DoCoMo to offer a discounted pre-paired video data plan.

‘YouTube Recharge’ will be offered to 3G prepaid customers on a pay as you go basis. The plan will include video streaming from Apalya Technologies - a live TV and video on demand provider - as well as YouTube.
