Zane Lowe to leave Radio 1 for Apple US role

Zane Lowe will leave Radio 1 in March, after more than a decade at the station, to take on a role at Apple in the US.

Lowe’s last show will air on March 5, with the DJ’s weekday evening new music show being taken over by Annie Mac.

"I want to thank everyone at Radio 1 for their support and friendship,” said Lowe. "The station has allowed me to share incredible music with the country's best music fans."
