'Zane who?' Ben Cooper celebrates Radio 1 and 1Xtra RAJAR jump
BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra controller Ben Cooper was jubilant following Q2 2015 RAJAR figures, which saw both stations up quarter-on-quarter.
The radio exec attributed the successes at Radio 1 – with reach up 7.6% from 9.7m to 10.43m – to his “class of 2015” presenters, including Clara Amfo, Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw, whose breakfast show saw its reach increase from 5.5m to 5.84m.
