First rate: Girls I Rate founder urges biz to back more women
Acclaimed songwriter and Girls I Rate founder Carla Marie Williams has called upon the industry to invest more time and money into an initiative, which helps provide opportunities for young female songwriters.
On May 6, Girls I Rate hosted an A&R showcase dubbed #GetHeard, which offered 100 young songwriters the opportunity to play their music to some of the most influential A&R executives in the business.
