McGoff steps up
14:39 | Monday June 9, 2008
EMI Music Publishing has promoted Kenny McGoff to head up its A&R function as senior vice president, head of A&R.
McGoff, formerly A&R manager, will report to EMI Music Publishing UK president Guy Moot, and will continue to be based in London.
McGoff’s signings over his eight years at EMI Publishing include Arctic Monkeys, The Enemy, The Feeling, the Fratellis, Kasabian, Paul Epworth, Reverend & The Makers, Scouting For Girls and The Zutons.
Moot says, “Kenny has a winning ethic, and a unique ability to nurture and develop songwriters. That ability to connect with writers is reflected in a record of signings that would be the envy of any A&R in the country. His passion and enthusiasm is infectious, and I’m sure that these qualities will enable him to be a real success in his new role.”
