Mama signs publishing deal

The company will be based at the Mama headquarters in Worship Street, London, and will be administered worldwide by Nettwerk’s existing publishing business, Nettwerk One Music.

The company has already secured deals to represent several artists including Yoav, Johnny Foreigner and Super Furry Animals, covering their past and future releases as well as a solo agreement with Gruff Rhys.

Mama Group co-CEO Adam Driscoll says, “When Mama Group became a partner in Nettwerk Music Group late last year this was exactly the kind of joint venture activity we envisaged flowing from our collaboration.

“Through this new business we are able to combine some of the best assets of our two businesses. We’re delighted with the calibre of our early signings and believe that they point the way to an exciting future for this publishing venture.”
