Shellshock signs fulfilment deal
09:41 | Tuesday December 16, 2008
Shellshock has concluded a new pick and pack deal with SRD, following the collapse of Pinnacle.
Shellshock, the distributor for labels including Sub Pop and Yep Roc, was one of a number of companies that used Pinnacle as fulfilment partner.
Shellshock managing director Garreth Ryan says, "Uppermost in our mind was to find a financially sound shipping partner; one who is independent, reliable, and understands our labels' and customers' needs. We are now very pleased to have an excellent and we believe much improved distribution system in place".
SRD's owner John Knight adds, "We are delighted to be working with Garreth and everyone at Shellshock. Their label roster is highly regarded throughout the music industry in the UK. It's a good match for the labels we distribute so we were both able to see the mutual benefits, and the ethos of both companies are perfectly aligned.”
