BMG Rights Management has named former Ministry Of Sound publishing general manager Tony Moss as managing director of its UK and Ireland arm.
Moss will be based in London and report directly to BMG Rights Management CEO Hartwig Masuch.
“Tony is a person with tremendous vision, drive and passion and this appointment will give him the opportunity to make great contributions to the growth and development of the BMG Right Management business in UK and Ireland. We will also benefit from his extensive knowledge of the UK market place which is at the forefront of change in the music industry landscape,” says Masuch.
Moss started out in music publishing at royalty collection society MCPS-PRS, before moving to Ministry of Sound, where he was the general manager of the music publishing arm involved.
Before joining BMG Rights Management, he was a freelance publisher, working closely with Modest Management and administering publishing rights for both the Modest catalogue and for selected artists.
