Live Nation and Ticketmaster tie the knot

The combined company will be called Live Nation Entertainment and will combine Live Nation's concert promotions knowledge with Ticketmaster's ticketing expertise.
The synergies and elimination of back office function are expected to save around $40m (?27.4m) a year.
