Maximo Park, whose last album Our Earthly Pleasures reached number two in 2007, are presently around 3,700 sales ahead of their closest challenger, Interscope/Polydor act Lady GaGa's The Fame, with Parlophone's Lily Allen a little further behind with It's Not Me It's You. The current number one, Columbia act Bob Dylan's Together Through Life, is expected to make a sharp fall and could be struggling to remain in the top five.
