A platform for live music at St Pancras
Wednesday July 1, 2009
One of London’s busiest train stations, St Pancras International, is to begin supporting fledgling acts by staging weekly live sessions.
Kicking off tomorrow (July 2), with performances by Londoner Jem Cooke and One Little Indian signings Kill It Kid, The Station Sessions – A Platform For Live Music initiative aims to help raise the profile of up-and-coming acts.
The hour long sessions will take place at the heart of the station concourse during one of the busiest times, with the artists performing between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
Other acts scheduled to take part in the coming weeks are Basement Jaxx singer Vula, Katie Vogel and Kerry Leatham.
