Golden Silvers head NME's Radar

13:39 | Tuesday July 14, 2009

Golden Silvers are to headline the NME’s second Radar Tour of 2009, which will hit the UK in autumn.

They are joined on the bill by Local Natives - a five piece band from Silverlake USA - Marina And the Diamonds and US electro act Yes Giantess.

The tour starts on September 26 in Oxford and ends on October 14 in Brighton.

The first NME Radar Tour of the year took place in May, with la Roux as headliner.

NME new music editor Jaimie Hodgson says, “With a line-up like this it was impossible to resist putting the NME Radar Tour out for the second time this year. It proves that 2009 is a truly ridiculous year for great music. The opportunity to see the best from the UK and the hottest new music coming out of the US all on the same bill is going to make this an amazing gig for music fans."
