Cherry Red launches online TV show

09:46 | Thursday July 23, 2009

Indie label Cherry Red has launched an online programme designed to highlight new alternative rock acts.

Episode one features V.E.G.A.S. Whores, Not Cool, CC-SB and Kuffar, while episode 2 includes Televised Crimewave (formally Black Wire), The Slow Blade and Phantom.

Both shows can be seen here: http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1315793379?bclid=27583583001&bctid=29436395001

The label says its intention is “to create a programme that isn't sanitised and shows bands in a raw an intimate environment”. “It’s not Top of the Pops,” it adds. “It is representing the part of music that isn’t pretty, its music at its most exciting.”
