In a briefing at New Scotland Yard this afternoon, Detective Chief Superintendent Richard Martin revealed that a review of Form 696, following intervention by UK Music CEO Feargal Sharkey, has resulted in the form being revised to take the emphasis away from live music events.
"By looking back over the past four years, we found that the events that caused most problems were those after 10pm which featured recorded music rather than live performances," says DCS Martin.
