Spotify head of communications Jim Butcher tells Music Week, "We're delighted to confirm that Spotify is coming to the Netherlands soon. We haven't got a fixed launch date as of yet, but will be announcing full details a little closer to launch."

Reports in the Dutch media have suggested the service will launch there on 18th May.

This will be the seventh European market the streaming music service will be available in.
