Apple faces $625m patent infringement case
Tuesday, Oct 5th 2010 at 10:08AMThe company could have to pay $208.5m (?132m) for each of three patent infringements to Mirror Worlds, which originally filed the case in 2008.
The judge ruled that Apple was in violation of Mirror Worlds' "document streaming" patents in Cover Clover which allows iTunes users to quickly scan through their music collection by album and single cover art.
The patent also relates to Time Machine, Apple's content back-up service.
