LimeWire seeks Amazon data in RIAA case

The filesharing service was ordered to switch off its sharing functionality last October. This followed it being found guilty in May of facilitating mass copyright infringement where it was claimed that 93% of its traffic was made up of unlicensed content.

The US courts will decide later this month how much LimeWire owes the recorded music industry in fines.

The service, meanwhile, has gone on the offensive and, according to The Hollywood Reporter, has started to subpoena third-party legal services ...
