Spotify/Universal US deal rumoured as iTunes edges towards the cloud

Reuters is reporting that Spotify is "a few weeks away" from signing up the world's biggest record company.

This follows rumours of the streaming service having signed deals with Sony and EMI in recent weeks. If true - and no party is confirming anything yet - this would leave just Warner Music and the indies (collectively represented by Merlin) to come on board.
