This is one of a series of changes at American Idol, in what will be its tenth year.

Fuller, who recently launched his own XIX Management company but continues to work closely on Idol, has been instrumental in re-engineering the US programme, bringing in Interscope Geffen A&M Records chairman Jimmy Iovine as a judge. The show also has a new recorded music partner in Universal.
