Singer-songwriter Ne-Yo changes labels, becomes A&R exec

Moving over from from Def Jam, Ne-Yo is set to bring his Compound Entertainment imprint to Motown and take on his new A&R role, Billboard.biz reveals.

The role is said to include production and mentoring duties for existing artists and the task of signing new talent.
