Music Festivals shares slip as ticket sales slump

Power said that ticket sales for Kent's Hop Farm "are currently slower than last year", despite the event boasting Bob Dylan as a headline act.

Reports suggest that Spain's Benicassim, which will welcome Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and New Order, is also suffering from flagging sales.

"The festivals market in general has been affected by the continued depressed economic climate and the availability of strong revenue-generating acts," said a statement from Music Festivals.
