McDonald's ListenIn app allows users to find songs that their friends are listening to, while Intel's Sifter app is a recommendation engine powered by Echo Nest.
The apps are currently only available in the US, with an error page greeting UK users who click on the icons on Spotify's desktop app.
Spotify's CEO Daniel Ek teased deals with Intel and McDonald's along with Reebok in April after announcing a global partnership with Coca-Cola.
