JetStar to rise like a Phoenix from the flames

16:07 | Friday May 29, 2009

Phoenix Music International, which last year bought the Gut catalogue from administrators, has acquired the assets of reggae label and publisher Jetstar Music.

Phoenix Music International director John Carnell says, “Phoenix Music International have bought the assets of Jetstar Music. We are looking forward to working with the artists and writers to make the most of an exciting catalogue of music.”

JetStar Music, which comprises the Jet Star label and publishing, was itself in administration.

Phoenix’s previous acquisitions include Production company Unique Corp, Nineties dance label Neo Records, Deviant Records, See For Miles Records, Belfern Music and FX Music.
