McCartney wins Silver Clef for best live act

The 36th Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards took place at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

As previously announced, Tinie Tempah won the best newcomer award; classical tenor Alfie Boe the PPL classical award; and Biffy Clyro best British band.

In total ten awards were presented, with Annie Lennox picking up the main O2 Silver Clef Award from British soul singer Beverley Knight.
