Glastonbury tickets still on sale
11:45 | Monday April 7, 2008
Tickets remain available for the Glastonbury Festival, after the event failed to sell out on the day of going on sale.
Tickets for the festival, which takes place on June 27-29, went on sale yesterday (Sunday) to those who had pre-registered.
While previous years have seen the festival sell out within hours, organisers says that tickets are still available for the 2008 event from www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk and www.seetickets.com/g2008. They have also re-opened ticket registration.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Jay-Z may pull out of his Glastonbury headline slot.
Although festival organiser Michael Eavis has said that he will personally introduce the rapper on stage, reports suggest that Jay Z is unhappy with media suggestions that he is to blame for slow ticket sales.
In addition, Jay-Z is to headline the O2 Wireless festival in Hyde Park in London on July 3.
