Concert Live have won the O2X Award For Music for their “instant live CD” business.

The company was one of three finalists in the category, alongside retailer Rough Trade and management company YoungGuns.

Awarding the prize at the event, which took place at Matter nightclub at The O2 Arena, Music Week news editor Ben Cardew praised the company’s “innovative system of allowing sales of music at live concerts to be entered into the UK charts”.

The company’s founders Adam Goodyer and James Perkins picked up the award from composer David Arnold.
