2017 Music Week Awards finalists revealed today

The finalists for the 2017 Music Week Awards are revealed in the new issue of Music Week (out now) and will appear online at MusicWeek.com later today.

In what has been a record-breaking year for entries, the 2017 Music Week Awards will once again celebrate the finest achievements, companies and individuals from across all sectors of the music industry.

And, to ensure that all areas of the biz are covered, this year we’ve introduced a number of brand new categories: Music Retailer; Publisher Of The Year; Law Firm Of The Year; Grassroots Venue; and Festival Of The Year.

These join traditionally hotly-contested categories such as Record Company Of The Year, Manager Of The Year, the A&R Award and, of course, The Strat. Last year, Universal’s Max Hole picked up the big award for his outstanding contribution to the music industry throughout his career.

Taking place on Wednesday, April 5, the event will once again be held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, as the cream of the music business crop battle it out for the most important music biz awards on the industry calendar.

So, to find out who’s made the shortlist for this year’s awards, be sure to stay tuned to our website and Twitter feed throughout the day or pick up a copy of the new issue of Music Week out today.
