Apple embarks on $100m marketing campaign - report

Apple has launched a marketing campaign reportedly worth $100m with U2 central in plans to advertise its newly launched iPhone 6 and Apple Watch.

The band released their thirteenth studio album Songs Of Innocence for free exclusively on iTunes yesterday after performing at the tech giant's launch event.

Rather than pay a traditional wholesale price for each of the 500 million albums, Apple are instead said to have paid Universal and U2 an undisclosed lump sum for the exclusive ...
