"Somebody told me you couldn’t be a working class band in the music industry anymore because you can’t afford it, because there’s not enough money in it anywhere,” says Van McCann, frontman and songwriter for Catfish And The Bottlemen.
“So when I was a kid and someone told me that, I said, ‘Right, we’re going make it then.’ That’s the drive, when somebody tells me I can’t do something, I’m going to spend my whole life trying to do it.”
