Comedian Jo Caulfield to host 2016 Music Week Sync Awards

Comedian Jo Caulfield has been unveiled as the host for this year’s Music Week Sync Awards.

Caulfield has worked on some of the biggest shows and with some of the biggest names in British comedy. She has been the regular warm-up performer for Have I Got News For You for many years, and has appeared as a guest on the show. She has also appeared on Mock The Week, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.

On Radio 4, Caulfield has her own acclaimed shows It’s That Jo Caulfield Again and Jo Caulfield Won’t Shut Up, as well as regularly appearing on shows including The News Quiz, The Now Show, and The Unbelievable Truth.

She has written for Ruby Wax, Joan Rivers, Ant and Dec, and Graham Norton.

Returning for its third outing, the event is held on October 20th at the Bloomsbury Ballroom, London, welcoming an audience of the industry's finest to come together to celebrate the best work, individuals and teams across a dynamic and increasingly important sector of the music industry.

Winners are selected from the ranks of record companies, publishers, sync teams and music supervisors plus the worlds of broadcast and advertising.

Each of the awards is judged by specialist panels according to a mixture of commercial and creative criteria.

The event kicks off with a drinks reception at 18.30, followed by a welcome dinner at 19.30. The awards presentation begins at 21.15 with an after party at 22.30 until late.
