Haim unveil new comeback single and video

Haim have revealed that their second album, Something to Tell You - the follow up to 2013’s Days Are Gone - will be released on July 7. As part of the announcement, the group have also unveiled a new song titled Right Now and a live studio recorded video of it directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the filmmaker behind the likes of Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Alana Haim revealed more about how the compelling video affected the song.

"The song kind of evolved," said Alana Haim. "It was very much where we were with the song at that point and it kind of evolved from there. That was our starting point so that was a very special moment for him to shoot because everything changed."

According to Official Charts Company data, Haim's debut Days Are Gone has sold 292,518 copies to date. The group will play Reading & Leeds Festival in August.
