Marsicans are an emerging indie quartet from Leeds (UK) whose harmony-laden, hard-edged, tropical sound is fast-gaining notoriety alongside their reputation for exciting live shows. 2016 has been a big year for the band with all four songs from their new Absence EP getting national radio play, a packed touring schedule in the UK, their first shows abroad and an attention-grabbing performance at Glastonbury.
In September, Marsicans released the Absence EP, a culmination of the band's 2016 output featuring title track Absence, premiered on BBC Radio 1 and featured Apple Music's Best Of The Week playlist, whilst EP track Far Away was showcased on Spotify's New Music Friday playlist.
A deluxe edition of the EP with alternative bonus track versions of each song, including a remix of Arms Of Another by Pixel Fix front man Marcus Yates, is available on 12" vinyl and CD.
The 17-date Absence UK Tour this autumn sees the band in action up and down the country.
