Netflix adaptation of My Chemical Romance frontman's book set for premiere

The screen adaptation of Gerard Way's graphic novel, The Umbrella Academy, has been given a premiere date.

Netflix will launch the series, which stars Mary J Blige and Ellen Page, across their streaming services on February 15. 

The Umbrella Academy will appear as ten, one-hour episodes.

Former My Chemical Romance frontman Way created the comic book series in 2007 with artist Gabriel Bá, publishing two volumes of stories about a dysfunctional family of superheroes, with a third planned.
