Unsigned Music Awards reveals nominations

The nominations for this year’s Unsigned Music Awards have been announced.

A panel of more than 80 judges from across the music industry cast their votes last month, with an initial list of 4,000 applicants streamlined down to 15 categories of four or five acts each. The list (which can be seen in full below) features an array of emerging UK talent including Elle Exxe, AKS, Skies, Hunter & The Bear and Darby Ward.

The ceremony will take place on October 27 at London’s Troxy and will be hosted by MTV presenter Laura Whitmore and Chris Stark from BBC Radio 1’s Scott Mills show. The show, sponsored by Liquiproof, will be televised and other official partners include Marshall Amps, UniLad and Locke Living.
