As the music industry still grapples with the turmoil caused by the switch to streaming, it’s easy to forget that there’s another digital revolution going on.

Listening via digital platforms now accounts for 45.5% of all radio listening, with digital-only stations now really beginning to thrive. Bauer’s Kisstory became the top-ranked commercial digital-only station with 1.611 million listeners, while BBC 6 Music is top-ranked overall with 2.342m.
