Spinnin’ Records has revealed a full rebranding of its top playlists to reach more users via voice activation.
The dance label, which currently serves over 20 million people worldwide on various streaming platforms, has initially rebranded four key playlists and will roll out with additional lists throughout 2018.
Spinnin’ Records playlists can now be found under new names, each with a unique theme and keywords to work as anchors for a voice-enabled product. Rebranded playlists include Hundred (the flagship Top 100), Fit (a workout selection) and Pixel (designed for gaming).
Meindert Kennis, head of digital strategies at Spinnin’ Records, said: “Having a personal AI-assistant and using it in everyday life is closer than we might realise. This means that voice is an important element in the overall mix of technology touchpoints for products and services. As a brand you need to be prepared for a new way of communication between your consumer and its assistent.”
