Vevo's Nic Jones to deliver MUSEXPO Europe keynote

Vevo’s chief revenue officer Nic Jones will take part in a keynote interview with Music Week editor Mark Sutherland at MUSEXPO Europe on Monday September 19.

The conference takes place September 18-20 at the Millennium Hotel in Mayfair, London and features a range of top music industry executives.

Commenting on the news of his participation in the conference, Jones said: “2016 has been a significant year for Vevo to date. In the last few months we announced a partnership with Warner Music Group, that will expand our catalogue to now have music videos from all three major labels, alongside the many great indie labels and artists.

We also completely redesigned and rebuilt our brand across mobile, web and connected TV to create a product that is more personalised, immersive and social.

“How we build on this as a business and continue to navigate the streaming service landscape will be key to our success - with an ever evolving industry we need to stay sharp and focused.”

Elsewhere at the event, Radio 1 & 1Xtra controller Ben Cooper will be delivering a keynote speech. “I love MUSEXPO as it’s an excellent opportunity for the broadcasting and music industries to share expertise and learn from the smartest people in the business,” he said.

“BBC Radio 1 is all about young people discovering new music, so my keynote will be how the industry invents new ways to do this in a disruptive digital marketplace.”
