Role Description
Working closely with the Artist Services and Artist Development team the Digital Operations Manager is tasked with the setup, delivery and pitching of all in-house releases. Tasks include:
- Liaise with Project Managers to set up releases
- Ensure metadata is set up correctly to allow delivery to all stores
- Action deliveries to all stores and ensure that product is delivered correctly and accepted by all stores
- Work with Content/Support team if/when changes to releases are required
- Work with Project Managers to deliver relevant marketing/promo info to our global sales team
- Work with Project Managers and the sales team to coordinate global pitches and liaise with relevant sales teams in key markets on a deeper level if required
- Keep up to date with 100+ stores’ delivery guidelines and requirements
- Educate Project Managers on changes in delivery requirements and ensure product deliveries match the most recent requirements
Experience
- Practical experience working with music content and DSPs
- Knowledge of digital music supply chain
- Knowledge of music rights societies and content requirements
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to timelines with strong attention to detail
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly nature and good interpersonal skills
- A diligent self-starter who is ready to learn and will also take the initiative
- A passion to be part of the independent music industry and to work with independent artists
