A well-established UK Musical Instruments Retailer with 40 employees is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Managing Director in the London area to take charge and to grow its physical business and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- You will manage all aspects of the business.
- Mentoring and motivating your team and driving growth with new ideas.
- Driving growth, turnover and profit.
- Oversee the physical expansion of the store.
- Manage all vendor relationships.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of five years professional experience in managing a musical instruments retail store.
- Ideally a good network with vendor relationships
- Open-minded & Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Understands physical and on-line retail in the stationary music retail business.
- Can demonstrate business and sales improvement in previous roles.
- IT proficient.
- Strong organisational, leadership and team skills.
- Well-honed communication skills.
- Experience in e-commerce would be advantageous, but is not a must-have.
- Organisational talented and quick decision making on short channels is important
- Willingness to relocate nearby the store
