Our client, a well-known merchandise company, are currently looking for a Merchandise Director to join their team. The key focus of the role will be to plan, direct, coordinate and monitor the sales team, managing the teams objectives to implement the company strategy as well as to contribute to development of sales, marketing, pricing distribution strategy to maximise profitable revenues. The role will include managing and liaising with key accounts and relationships and communication and coordinate with key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Industry knowledge and experience. Sound relations with key industry individuals both entertainment and retail
- Planning & organization
- Focus
- Teamwork
- Commercial acumen
- Proficient in MS word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook,
- SAP experience would be desirable
