An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Music lawyer to join a world leader in the industry. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Affairs, this is an extremely visible position with a large degree of responsibility.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• drafting and negotiating a range of agreements, including those relating to talent, film, TV and new media;
• advising on queries relating to contract interpretation, royalty/financial, and copyright;
• managing some contentious issues, and managing external counsel where appropriate
• advising affiliates with various commercial transactions
To be successful, you should be a qualified lawyer with between 2-6yrs PQE*, preferably having enjoyed first class training from a leading firm, with experience of working either in-house within a music company or private practice within a music-focused department.
