Young, successful British music artist is looking for a personal assistant to look after all of their domestic affairs. Although this role is for a high-profile artist in the music industry, you will not be needed to accompany them on any tours.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with management, accountants and employees on a daily basis
- Updating personal diary
- Booking personal appointments such as barbers, PT sessions, restaurants reservations etc
- Taking care of house and studio maintenance alongside architects, builders, contractors etc
- Communicating with family members and assisting as and when required
- Personal shopping and errands
- Dealing with general personal management such as insurance, cars and personal travel
- Assisting with guestlist requests and liaising with promoters and agents
- Keeping Birthday/Christmas list updated & assisting with personal gifting
- Able to work autonomously and away from an office environment
- The candidate will be expected to answer phone calls and messages outside of traditional hours and deal with any pressing matters accordingly
Person Specification:
- Only those with 2 years+ experience working in the music industry will be considered. Preference will be given to PA’s who have worked with musicians on a private basis before however assistants within label, publishing or management companies will also be considered
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- MUST be highly discreet & trustworthy due to the confidential nature of this role
- Friendly & personable
- Calm under pressure
- The PA will mostly be working alone from the principal’s home address’ in both North & South East London so must be comfortable working without colleagues
- Excellent relationship builder
