Decca

Decca is the home of diverse music. With a rich catalogue of artists including Sheppard, Alfie Boe, Einaudi, Rod Stewart, Katherine Jenkins and Gregory Porter, we represent some of the world’s most celebrated performers. Decca is currently looking for a skilled Radio Promotions Consultant to join their team to help bring their music to the airwaves.

About the role
In this exciting and varied role, you’ll tackle radio promotion for Decca Records. It means prioritising radio opportunities alongside the Senior Media Manager; creating promotional strategies and campaigns; and doing all you can to persuade radio producers to give your artists airtime. Once promotional opportunities are secured, you’ll be the linchpin of the operation, organising radio sessions, tours and interviews, hiring the necessary equipment; ensuring artists are accompanied to radio stations; and agreeing dates, channel lists, stage plans and other details with a host of key contacts. In fact, you’ll be at the heart of a national industry network, building great working relationships, encouraging radio contacts to see gigs and keeping every station up-to-date with the latest information about Decca artists and their work.
About you
To join us, you must have worked in a similar radio promotions role. You’ll have helped devise strategies for records; pitched new and upcoming acts to radio; and built up a good understanding of the costs and logistical requirements involved in radio promotions. Thanks to this background, you’ll know the current market place very well and have the ability to spot opportunities, assess risks and make calculated decisions to benefit campaigns. You’ll combine this expertise with impeccable organisation, an eye for detail and strong administrative skills. Above all, you’ll be good with people and great in a team – a professional who can think quickly and build a good rapport with everyone you meet.
