An outstanding opportunity has arisen at a leading record company for an exceptional results driven Senior Label Manager to join their company at an exciting time in their expansion.
The key focus of the role will be to supervise the day to day activities of the label management department, ensuring the schedule is best exploited, whilst performing key label management responsibilities and providing guidance and advice in a supervisory capacity on day to day issues. The successful candidate will understand all formats and commercial platforms with particular regard to the opportunity around streaming and possess an entrepreneurial outlook with regard to new commercial opportunities for the business and their partners.
The ideal candidate will possess a successful track record in a similar role in the music industry or record marketing function, working with artists, managers and labels at all levels, coupled with demonstrable experience in leading teams and managing people. A background working with commercial teams across all formats, retail types and platforms with particular emphasis on the streaming economy and best practices is essential. The successful candidates will have extensive experience working product cycles and a clear understanding of the distribution process. They will have previously managed sales and distribution marketing campaigns, both domestic and international, and be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the current music scene and the independent sector in particular.
