Role Description

Live Nation is the biggest live music promoter in the world. Somewhere around the globe, every 20 minutes a Live Nation Event happens. Our Marketing Team live by the mantra: by fans for the fans – we’re all live music lovers who strive to deliver excellent and efficient marketing.

Our Social and Content Manager is responsible for managing and building the LN UK social channels and LNTV publishing platform. You will also support the shared team goal to grow reach, engagement and first party data.

Responsibilities

  • Planning: Working with the Head of Digital Marketing to create, develop and manage a social media growth and content strategy with defined metrics and a detailed roadmap for both
  • Content Production: With support from Digital Marketing Assistant, deliver all social media activity in line with content plan, ensuring maximum reach
  • Editor of LNTV: Planning and of delivery of quality content for LNTV publishing platform
  • Paid media: Plan and manage best in class promoted social activity with support from Digital Marketing Assistant and media agency
  • Community management: Ensure social media customer questions are responded to fully and in a timely manner with support from Digital Marketing Assistant
  • Campaigns: Work with Campaigns Team to propose innovative and effective social media and content ideas in response to briefs to drive awareness and sales
  • Reporting: Manage social tracking and other insight tools to deliver actionable insights. Set effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of our social media programs, and analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results
  • Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in managing social media activity
  • Demonstrable editorial experience
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their audience (Facebook, Google+, Instagram, You Tube, Twitter, Flickr etc.) and how they can be used
  • Experience managing multiple projects to completion under concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear understanding of what makes customers tick (and click)
  • Confident and experienced data analyst
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) – copy writing experience required

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Hootsuite
  • Ability to edit video content
  • Experience with Photoshop / other

Education & Qualifications

  • English language fluent written and oral essential
  • A Bachelor's Degree or relevant qualification/experience is required.
