More top names confirmed for Indie-Con 2018

Mute Records' Daniel Miller, Martin Talbot of The Official Charts Company, Domino's Brooke Salisbury and Cooking Vinyl's Martin Goldschmidt head the latest batch of speakers confirmed for AIM's Indie-Con 2018.

Emmy The Great, A2IM CEO Richard Burgess, Cherry Red Records MD Adam Velasco, Absolute Label Services senior label manager Kate Hendry and Secretly Group's Darius Van Arman will also appear at the one-day conference, which covers all areas of independent label business and returns to London’s Glaziers Hall on Wednesday, February 8.

Among new additions to the event line-up is a panel focusing on wellbeing and mental health, entitled Finding The Balance: Wellbeing & Mental Health in a 24/7 Music Business, and a roundtable discussion, with a host of independent artists discussing their chosen routes to markets and how they engage with and grow their fanbases and approach new technology and revenue streams.

Previously announced speakers include WIN CEO Alison Wenham, [PIAS] chief creative officer Jane Third, ERA chairman Kim Bayley, Ninja Tune A&R manager Vidhi Gandhi, Razor & Tie president Victor Zaraya, BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Jon Hillcock and J Willgoose Esq of Public Service Broadcasting.

Last year's conference sold out and had more than 450 independent music professionals in attendance. Tickets are available now for the event, which is open to both AIM members and non-members.
