Plug and playlist: David Dollimore on RCA's latest exec appointments

RCA Records president David Dollimore has told Music Week that the latest promotions at the company are a sign that labels “have to adapt” to the streaming era.

James Bass takes on the newly-created role of head of playlisting with responsibility for both streaming services and national radio plugging. Dollimore said that, while digital platforms are increasingly dealing directly with managers, he wants RCA to be leading for its artists at both streaming and radio.
