Sony Music’s RCA has parted company with R Kelly amid abuse allegations.
Sources have confirmed to Music Week the decision by the major.
The singer has denied allegations, which featured in the documentary, Surviving R Kelly.
The six-part series documents accusations of sexual misconduct made against Kelly over decades. It also focused on the singer’s relationship with Aaliyah, who married Kelly when she was 15.
Erykah Badu courted controversy over the weekend by stating that she loved Kelly “unconditionally”.
