Centtrip – the international payments and foreign-exchange specialist which serves over 500 music industry clients – has announced the launch of a new office in Amsterdam to oversee its expanding presence in mainland Europe.
Since launching in 2016, Centtrip’s financial products and services have been used for international tour management, festival financing royalty runs and a range of other activities. The company facilitated its first major world tour in 2017 with Robbie Williams in conjunction with IE:Music.
Speaking about the hub, Simon Liddell, drector of music, film and entertainment at Centtrip said: “With our business growing exponentially Amsterdam was the natural choice for our new mainland Europe hub. The city, which has a fantastic musical heritage, is one of the key gateways to Europe and is fast becoming a key centre for technology alongside being a leading economy for innovation.”
Freerk Ten Hoor, regional business development director at Centtrip added: “The Netherlands is famous for its music scene and Centtrip is a great fit for it. We already have an established Dutch client base and look forward to building on this success to grow our reach in the region and beyond.”
